Napoleon Theme Park
In Social Studies class, we read this article. It talks about a theme park based on Napoleon Bonaparte. It's supposedly going to be finished in 2014 and is supposed to inspire people to like history. I think it's a good idea. It inspires many young people in France to learn about their history. It also makes them more patriotic and supportive towards their country because the theme park will most likely show them the good things that Napoleon did. I like how they do this; some people don't prefer learning about history through books and notes.I believe that this also inspires people in other countries to make something like this theme park. It's an effective way to make people enthusiastic when learning about their country's heroes/past. Personally, my favorite part of the theme park would be the battle reenactments; it's really cool to see how the battles happened.

Hi Hannah!
ReplyDeleteYour idea about the patriotism is a new and unique perspective for me! I believe that is true :> This theme park may become a place for French school field trips, not only for recreational and educational purpose, but also the inform the kids to love their country. Also, I agree that people will prefer this learning way better because it's more fun. I want to see the battlefields too! For me, It will be really amazing if the battles are shown through drama plays in the theme park. XD
